Hey all – Sorry i haven’t updated my blog in ages – Time for an update

I had a great summer – 6 weeks in the south of France – Very hot and relaxing was great after my A2 exams.

Got back off the holiday and got my results – I received 2 unconditional offers from 2 of my listed Univeristies i had applied too – I had already decided to defer entry until Sept 2010 as i want to take a Gap Year out to Australia and New Zealand for about 5 months – I have this all planned now and am off in mid January 2010 till mid May 2010 stopping off at Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, LA and New York before returning home 5 months later – Its going to be fantastic!!!

As my last post tells you i got the new HTC Hero – an early Birthday present from parents but mainly to help whilst on our gap year allowing us to email, blog, facebook and basically keep in contact with everyone we know whilst we are away easily plus its a truly amazing phone – iPhone eat your heart out!!

Im continuing on with a few website projects, one of which is learning to work with zencart making a new template for the highly successful e-commerce system – im learning alot about its mad coding structure and will be another great skill to help me in future work!

Im also in the process of creating a splash page for this site mainly because i want to be able to separate the site into sections of about me, blog, forum (will be redo-ing completely in next few weeks), projects (for website and graphic stuff + portfolio) and a contact me form – goto = http://www.harryfinn.co.uk/newsite/test.html for the current splash home page im working on – i will be updating it until i get the final results i want then switching it onto the main site page

Right i think thats pretty much it – i will be looking to add a new blog post once or twice a week now (if not more haha) so please check back from time to time
