Designing, Coding and Work
As some of you may know, i have a great interest in web design, development and management. I am planning on furthering this interest at University by taking a ICT with Business course – after a gap year of course ha ha. Anyway just thought i’d let you know of a few new projects i have been working on. I have been working on building an Online Photograph Gallery just server technology PHP and MySQL. I have got on well with this and it is nearing completion. I will post up the web link soon for anyone to sign up and create their own album and upload some pics – of course only sensible ones please – or they will be deleted.
Another project that i am working on is a neighbours website for their home run business. Street Music is a Music Consultancy with many key links to higher recording studios such as Universal. This project is one that allows me to get the boring html and simple PHP code out of the way and allow me to play around with some more interesting areas of web design such as some CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) making the site look simple yet eye-catching to the public and with the possibility of some interesting PHP code that will cycle through and display different outputs at varying intervals or after each page load/refresh etc. Again when finished (should take around a month from today) i will is possible post up the web link to allow any one who wishes to have a look at it.
Finally i am working on my Computer Studies Coursework which is going to be an online database to allow pupil results to be recorded my members of staff and automatically assign points and star awards to the pupil records etc – i am quite happy with the way that this is turning out and it should be long before almost all the functions are operating. This is the only project that i will be unable to show you as it is being built into a secure system that must not be accessed by unauthorized users etc (Sorry!) ha ha.
