Hey all,

It’s the end of April and here in the south of the UK, we have had some of the best weather for years at this time. With temperatures getting up to 28/29c, the sun out shining, people poured down to the beaches over the Easter break.

As I may have mentioned before now, I have now finished my first year of University (early I know!) due to the fact that I took my exams in December (semester 1) and all my assignments this semester (2) were to be handed in before we broke up for our 2 week Easter break. It is a little strange not going back seeing that most of my friends that came back from Uni at Easter have already gone back and starting their exam revision etc.
Not that I am complaining really…. I mean it works out as 5 months off before I start my Year 2 modules but at the same time I have really enjoyed my first year and am looking forward to the next year’s work

Hey,

Been out a bit with my camera, taking lots of photos, experimenting with macro shots, manual exposures etc etc.
Having great fun finding out what my camera can do and how to get better shots.

I have uploaded quite a lot of photo’s recently to both my facebook and flickr accounts (see the links below) and below you can see, what I feel, are some of my best photo’s over the last week or so. I have also been uploading some of my better pictures to 500px.com which is like a portfolio site to showcase your best pictures and connect with other photographers around the world so please have a look at my account on there too!

Hey all,

Sorry for the long time since my last post – March was one hell of a month University work wise!

Anyway, I handed in all my assignments for this semester this week just gone, with my final submission on the Friday morning, I finished for the summer after my last essay went in as I don’t have any exams after Easter (which I get the next 2 weeks off for anyway) and as all my assignments are done and handed in – there are no compulsory lessons for me to attend.
